10 Days North Shore is a collaborative effort among over 20 local
congregations and ministries. It is our desire to see Jesus’ get the answer
to His prayer in John 17:23, “Let them be one, as we are one so that the
world may know that You sent me and have loved them as You have loved me.”

Before
the first Pentecost, a small group of Jesus’ followers who were witnesses of
His resurrection gathered together for 10 Days, waiting for the promised
outpouring of the Holy Spirit. As they waited, “they devoted themselves with
one mind to prayer…” At the end of that time, God poured out His Spirit
and the Church was born.
|
| |
|
| |
Like
the first Christians, we are witnesses to the resurrection of Christ. Like them,
we desperately need an outpouring of His grace. God’s word to us is simple:
“If we ask, we will receive; if we seek, we will find; and if we knock, the
door will be opened.” 10 Days North Shore is a time to set ourselves apart to
Ask, Seek, and Knock.
|
| |
|
| |
Our entire lives are
designed to be worship to God—however, there are special times when we take a
break from the normal rhythms of life in order to prioritize worship, prayer,
fellowship, communion, and the word of God.
|
| |
|
| |
Our
goal in hosting this gathering together is that believers on the North Shore
might experience the love and power of God and be transformed into His image and
likeness. We know that if we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us and that
once He touches us, we will never be the same.

A
Fast: Local congregations are inviting believers into a 10 day Daniel (no
meats, no sweets, no dairy) or Juice (liquids only) fasts. Both of these fasts
are gentle and accessible to people who have never fasted before. In addition,
we encourage a fast from media and entertainment during these days as we seek
to “fix our eyes on Jesus”. |
